Frequently Asked Questions

General Pest Control F.A.Q.

It is our year-round protection program designed for families who want a consistently pest-free home without stress. It begins with a full interior and exterior Home Pest Reset, followed by our 3-Layer Home Shield System and unlimited free call-backs.

We protect your home in three steps: an Interior Flush that clears any existing pests on the inside, a Soil-to-Soffit Barrier around your entire home for outside protection, and Seasonal Adjustments that match Florida’s changing pest pressures.

Every plan includes exterior treatments every other month. Interior service is included anytime you request it at no extra visit fee.

Not for exterior services. If an interior treatment is needed, we will schedule a convenient time for you & your family.

Yes. We use EPA-approved products and apply them carefully along with botanical options for products. We also give you a Family Safety Pest Guide with clear steps for before and after service.

We cover common Florida pests like ants, roaches, spiders, earwigs, silverfish, and more. Specialty pests are discussed during your assessment.

Call or text us. All plans include unlimited free call-backs for covered pests.

Guarantees and Service Expectations

If you report an active covered pest issue, by sending us a picture with some context by text or email, we return within 48 business hours to address it.

If we cannot resolve a covered issue within 21 days, even with re-treatments, we credit your next month of service.

The initial Home Pest Reset is where we do the heavy lifting. During this first visit, we take extra time to thoroughly inspect your home inside and out, treat active problem areas, address entry points, and build a strong protective foundation around your home. This requires more labor, more product, and a more detailed approach so your family starts from a clean, pest-free baseline. Once that foundation is in place, our every-other-month visits are designed to maintain that exterior barrier, adjust for seasonal pest activity, and keep pests from coming back. Think of the initial visit as setting your home up for long-term success, while the monthly price keeps that protection working year-round without disruption.

Bi-monthly services usually take 30 minutes or more, depending on whether there is pest activity inside the house. The initial service takes about an hour or more, depending on the size of the property and pest activity- it includes full interior and exterior work.

We provide year-round service with simple terms. We explain everything clearly at your free Home Protection Assessment.

Yes. Our botanical treatment is a gentle, plant-based option made from essential oils. Families often choose it for nurseries, playrooms, and homes with pets because it provides effective protection without harsh odors.

Botanical products work very well for routine pest control. For severe infestations or pests that require targeted solutions, your technician will let you know whether botanical only is enough or if a hybrid approach is recommended.

Plan Differences

Essential covers general pests. Premium adds annual termite inspections, a trial mosquito treatment, Moving Protection, and a $200 termite credit. Total Home Shield adds rodent stations, an attic/roof visual check, and a $300 wildlife exclusion credit.

Premium includes an annual termite inspection with a written report and a $200 credit toward a full treatment for total Termite Protection. While our Premium plan does not cover a full termite treatment, we wanted this plan to help make that decision easier for our customers.

Rodent stations installed at the initial visit, monitoring and servicing the stations throughout the year, an attic or roof visual check, and a $300 credit toward future wildlife exclusion.

Add-Ons

It is a monthly mosquito treatment for your exterior areas- foliage, trees, and bushes. Premium and Total Home Shield families receive one free trial treatment each year and discounted member pricing afterwards for those who want the service year-round. We use an all-natural, plant-based insect control that’s tough on pests but safe around children, pets, and plants. It works best when paired with simple landscape practices that help reduce pest activity in your yard.

Assessments and Coverage Area

We inspect your home inside and out, identify current or potential issues, explain entry points, and design your custom Home Shield System. You receive a clear price before any work is done.

We serve families in Lake Nona, Oviedo, Celebration, Avalon Park, and the surrounding Orlando area, Central Florida communities.

Wildlife & Exclusion

Trapping alone only removes the animals you see, not the reason they got inside. Wildlife like squirrels, raccoons, and opossums will keep coming back if entry points are left open. Even worse, once one animal is removed, another often takes its place because the scent, warmth, and shelter are already there. Exclusion repairs close off gaps along rooflines, soffits, vents, and other vulnerable areas so animals cannot re-enter. This is what protects your home long-term from repeated infestations, property damage, noise, droppings, and health concerns. Trapping solves the immediate problem; exclusion prevents it from happening again.

Our primary focus is the safe, humane removal of wildlife and preventing future entry through proper exclusion. While we do not perform full-scale attic or crawlspace cleanouts, we do offer an optional bacteria and odor control treatment designed to address the most common concerns left behind by wildlife activity. This treatment helps reduce bacteria, germs, and odor-causing organic matter that can remain after animals are removed—especially from droppings, nesting areas, or urine. It’s an effective solution for improving air quality and minimizing lingering smells without the cost of a full restoration service. For situations involving heavy contamination or extensive insulation damage, we’ll be transparent and recommend a specialized restoration or insulation company. Our goal is to ensure your home is safe, healthy, and properly protected, even if that means guiding you to the right next step.
